The Library and Friends of the Hudson Area Library accept donations of books and other media that meet the following standards:
We will accept one small bag or box per week per person of books and puzzles in very good condition (no library discards).
All donations must be brought to library staff during normal library hours. Do not leave donations in our book drops or outside of the library.
For book donations, we can accept hardcover and paperback, fiction and nonfiction, in good/clean condition (not dusty, mildewed, water damaged or torn). We cannot accept donations of reference books, textbooks, study guides, guidebooks, journals, magazines or newspapers. For puzzles, the puzzles must be in good/clean condition and donated in the original packaging.
The Friends are no longer accepting donations of DVDs and CDs for the book and bake sale. The library will accept DVDs in like new condition for consideration for the library collection.
